Arden, Delaware: The Love Bus visited Arden in the Summer of 2012. It is America’s oldest intentional community, founded in 1900 as a summer resort. Today, Arden residents are proud of its Single Tax Law and strong cultural heritage.

Earthaven, North Carolina: The Love Bus visited Earthaven in the Summer of 2012. It is an independent-income community whose residents and members engage themselves in the sustainable and regenerative practices of the community of life they are a part of.

Twin Oaks, Virginia: The Love Bus visited Twin Oaks in the Summer of 2012. Founded in 1967, it is one of America’s oldest intentional community. Today it supports itself and its members through more than one means, most notably it’s tofu and hammock industries.

New Hope Catholic Worker Farm, Iowa: Our travels took us to New Hope in the Summer of 2012. They’re a small community that boasts farm animals and food. They’re interested in pursuing the ideal of the “worker-scholar” that Peter Maurin discussed.
